Solar Air Conditioner Heat Pump (Ductless Mini Split)

The solar mini split is a wall-mounted air conditioner that operates on stored energy, grid power, or sunlight, and automatically switches between the three sources. It is an AC/DC hybrid. The unit maintains cooling and heating regardless of grid strength, weakness, or complete absence by operating in four modes: full-PV, micro-grid, AC/DC hybrid, and energy-storage.

In 12,000 BTU and 18,000 BTU capacities, each system comprises photovoltaic panels, an intelligent solar controller, an indoor wall unit, and an exterior inverter unit. It is designed for a variety of applications, including homes, mobile homes, offices, shops, farms, off-grid buildings, telecom base stations, and outdoor worksites. It can reduce mains consumption by prioritising solar power and using the grid only when necessary, whether electricity is expensive, unreliable, or off-grid.
